Fraser MacLean
was previously at a London-based US Legal Search Boutique.
He has over 7 years experience in Legal Search. Originally,
employed in the sector as an IT Consultant, he quickly
became involved in European legal research and search
with his main focus in the areas of Banking &
Finance, Corporate M&A and Private Equity, IP/IT
and Tax. More recently, Fraser has been working in
the areas of acquisition finance, competition and
financial services. Outside of the UK, he has developed
good contacts in other European countries including
France, Germany, Italy and Russia.

He originally trained
as a Chartered Accountant after qualifying from Newcastle
University with an Honours Engineering degree. After
gaining his MBA from Edinburgh University, he spent
several years working as a Market Analyst & Planning
Manager for a French Multinational. Immediately prior
to working in Search, he was in a joint venture with
BP Amoco and a private Chinese company re: exploring
the use of an oil-based chemical for road-building
in developing countries.
