Fraser Maclean

Fraser MacLean has been working in legal search since 1999, but has over 20 years business experience, working with professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds and industry sectors. His non-legal, multi-functional business background has provided him with a more commercial approach and outlook in comparison to several of his competitors. It also compliments and supports the legal experiences of his fellow director.

He originally trained as a Chartered Accountant after qualifying from Newcastle University with an Honours Engineering degree. After gaining his MBA from Edinburgh University, he spent several years working as a Market Analyst & Planning Manager for a French Multinational. Immediately prior to working in Search, he was in a joint venture with BP Amoco and a private Chinese company re: exploring the use of an oil-based chemical for road-building in developing countries, principally Africa.
